Serotonin Uptake Selectively Inhibited

I got just slightly off my medication schedule last week -- not seriously, but obviously enough to make me a little... shall we say gloomy? Enough to have my eyes start welling up while walking through a bookstore Saturday afternoon and hearing their sound system playing "Strawberry Fields" from the "Across the Universe" soundtrack.

In any case, all is well now, and there will be nothing this week but smileys and puppies.

Hope you're feeling better, honey. All we can do is laugh when we catch ourselves crying at the drop of a hat...right?

Good to hear all is well again.

Sounds very familiar. Actually I was feeling slightly under the weather physically first, which then led to me forgetting my meds, which all in all led to a two-week dip. It's over now. I've come to accept that people get gloomy sometimes and that, at least in this respect, I do resemble people...

Glad to know you're feeling better. I'm sending out calming brainwaves as I conjure up visions of fawns. I got off kilter early in the week with all the heat, and then my medicinal fog got me set straight.

If you've got something that'll take this cold away, I'm all for it.

when mike has missed the occasional dose of effexor, it really, really fucks with him. there's a reason they tell you not to quit that drug cold turkey. hard taper.

i'm glad you're better. i seem to live with welling eyes of late and i wonder whether i've finally lapsed into my family's historic version of old-fuck-hood, having passed 50, or if it's just the times and this period in my life.

i had a little screaming wailing psychosis last week, courtesy of a cortisone shot. that's always good for livening things up around here ;-)
