OH HAI - MY NEPHEW, LET ME SHOW YOU HIM!!

I'm trying to get my brother to send me higher-resolution copies of these photos, but for now... (And yes, babies really do turn you into a blathering idiot of sorts, but who cares when they're sooooooo cute!)

Lucky you. I've not had one that small in the immediate family circle for a long time. I'm anxious for my niece to add one soon. Yes, he's got an adorable mug, and I'm very impressed that you two have the same haircut. It looks great on both of you.

I caption that second one: "Who is this crazy dude? He's had too much eggnog and is about to drop me on my head! Helllllp!!!"

so what do you think . . . need one of your own? or did you get your baby fix?

You're both cute in your own way.

I predict your nephew will grow into a handsome prince.

So many hours of free babysitting in your future, this I see.

Haha... Except, Carl, that the baby is in Ohio, and the putative babysitter in California.

I have to be honest, all bets were off when the topic of a messy diaper took on a certain urgency. I'm not entirely inexperienced with the babypoo, but I wasn't exactly eager to refamiliarize myself with it either. Call me wimpy.

No, call you "gay uncle." Before the Niece Audrey was born, I was all gung ho to babysit and, yes, change diapers. The first few days after they brought her home, when there isn't much in the way of poop, I chickened out, and have yet to change one nappy. I'm looking forward to babysitting, but I wouldn't be surprised if I wait until after the bulk of toilet training is over.

Kusula - thanks for reminding me about vicuna in Sunset Blvd. My latest post on Judy Meat refers to it.
